Angela Fetting is a Senior Manager, Accounting Policy and Strategic Initiatives Advisory, at Sagard and joined the firm in 2024. Angela is responsible for advising on complex accounting issues, including new transactions, legal entity structures and acquisitions. Angela is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Angela was a Senior Manager at KPMG Canada within the Accounting Advisory Services practice, where she advised key stakeholders on complex accounting issues and business transactions. This included understanding and applying the technical requirements of IFRS and US GAAP, as well as navigating the related operational and disclosure implications. Prior to joining KPMG Canada, Angela has worked as an external auditor and valuation specialist within KPMG South Africa’s Financial Engineering Group. The group is the Centre of Excellence for financial instrument valuation and treasury risk management at KPMG South Africa.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance with Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Ontario and South Africa).
