Helen Liu is an Associate, Sagard Healthcare at Sagard and joined the firm in 2022. As a member of Sagard Healthcare, Helen invests in approved and commercialized biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical devices that are protected by strong intellectual property. Helen is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Helen is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Helen was an Associate on the Active Equities team at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (“CPPIB”) and was responsible for making public equity investments within the healthcare sector. Before that, Helen was an Analyst on the Life Science Technology and Venture Development team at MaRS Innovation. She sourced, conducted due diligence, and executed on novel, early-stage biopharmaceutical investment opportunities.
Helen holds an Honors B.Sc. in Life Science and a Masters of Health Science, both from the University of Toronto. She is also a CFA® charterholder.
