Savneet Uppal is a Principal, Sagard Healthcare at Sagard and joined the firm in 2020. As a member of Sagard Healthcare, Savneet invests in approved and commercialized biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical devices that are protected by strong intellectual property. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Savneet is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Savneet was a Senior Equity Research Associate at RBC Capital Markets covering both the healthcare (pharma, biotech, and specialty pharma) and cannabis sectors.
Savneet holds a B.Sc. in Life Science (Honours) and an MBA (Finance), both from McMaster University.
