Tyler Poon is a Senior Software Engineer at Sagard and joined the firm in 2024. Tyler is responsible for building a platform that will help automate the investment process. Tyler is a member of the Canopy team and is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Tyler was a VP of Engineering at Cluep, an AI-powered advertising firm, where he built software that ensured operational excellence and provided the insights required to make strategic decisions. As an early employee, Tyler helped grow the business and team by wearing whatever hats were needed.
Tyler holds a B.CS from University of Waterloo and a B.BA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
